Elementary School

Elementary school students are assigned based on school and class capacity, the programmatic needs of the student, the assignment of the student's siblings, parental preference, and the district's diversity guideline. Parents are given the opportunity to indicate their elementary school choice preferences on the elementary application. Parents may apply for their elementary school student(s) to attend:

• their resides school, or
• other schools in the resides school's cluster, or
• an Optional or Magnet Program, or
• a school in another cluster by transfer

Your resides elementary school is STOPHER ELEMENTARY which is in 2010-11 Cluster 5 . Transportation is provided to most schools within 2010-11 Cluster 5 . The district cannot guarantee placement in the resides school.

Middle school students (grades 6 through 8) are assigned to their resides school based on their home address.

High school students (grades 9 through 12) are assigned to their resides school based on their home address.

Call EASTERN HIGH at (502)485-8243 to register or obtain information regarding transfer or placement in an option/magnet program. Students may apply for a transfer to another school or apply to a Magnet/Optional Program through the District's Open Enrollment Policy for ninth-grade students.
